We make wine
There is no better way of producing an excellent wine than by respecting the soil and the vines
As our ancestors before us, Nave Rover, focuses on growing the best fruit while keeping the human touch light.
It is made with the sun
Off the grid
Powered by the sun, we work the vineyard by hand and dry farm organically, using sustainable methods – our operation is 100% solar-powered, off the grid and without irrigation.
The wine
As our Syrah, Cabernet, Manto Negro, Chardonnay, Viogner and Muscat de Petit Grain grape varietals grow, we interfere as little as possible with what nature gives us. We use only the best in creating the unique body and aroma of our wines.

White ROVER
Organic Wine
Young, fresh and balanced white wine with delicate aromas of forest and grapefruit.

Red ROVER
Organic wine, 12 months in oak barrels
Elegant red, with soft aromas of berries and black pepper

Sweet ROVER
Organic wine
Fine, enveloping, fresh wine. Perfect as an aperitif with paté or foie gras, or as a dessert wine with cheese or chocolate. Pairs beautifully with spicy foods.
The human touch
Javier Oliver, the heart of our production
Javier’s family has been making wine since the 18th century on the Spanish island of Mallorca. Originally the Oliver family grew Manto Negro grapes and produced wine in the cellar of the historic “Cases des Poble” located in the town of Algaida.
Rover is like a great trip.
In 2005, together with his family, Javier moved to Australia to broaden his viticultural perspective on how grapes grow and wine is made. The years in Australia gave him the courage and vision to continue his winemaking legacy while putting his own personal stamp on it.
Back on the island of Mallorca in 2007, Javier started planting a Muscat grape and produced the Rover Dulce, which consistently receives high scores in the leading Spanish wine guide, Guia Peñin.
In 2013, Javier and Ana with their friends, Sonja and Thomas, decided to partner on this winemaking journey. This partnership provided the impetus for creating Red Rover using Syrah and Manto Negro grapes, the fruits of which have been bottled since 2019.
Since La Nave Rover is by design –a small operation – our focus is on quality, and quality alone.
